Northbridge was founded by Genna, a UK-qualified English teacher and examiner with over 20 years' experience in UK and international schools, and a former Head of English and Drama.
Her teaching is calm, structured and academically ambitious, helping students write with greater clarity, confidence and precision across IB, GCSE, IGCSE, A Level and EAL. Genna personally oversees the agency, the curriculum and the selection of every tutor.

Supporting every learner
SEN and neurodivergent learners
We work with many students who learn a little differently, including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, slower processing speed and anxious learners who have lost confidence at school. We are not a specialist SEN provider, but our tutors have taught these students throughout their careers and know how to teach English in a way that genuinely works for them.
Lessons are calm and unhurried. Instructions are broken down clearly, ideas are revisited as often as needed, and no student is ever made to feel they are behind. Where it helps, we recommend one-to-one tuition over a group, so the pace, materials and feedback can be shaped entirely around the student.
